Yes. All sessions are treated as confidential and respectful spaces.
However, there are limits to confidentiality. As a registered practitioner, I am required to disclose information where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, including situations involving child protection, or where disclosure is required by law.

As a registered social worker and counsellor, I am bound by legal and professional mandatory reporting requirements.
This includes situations where there is reasonable concern for the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, or where there is risk of serious harm to any person. Mandatory reporting also extends to breaches of professional ethics or standards.
Where possible, this will be discussed with you openly and respectfully.
